The hand-calligraphed Hanuman Chalisa is the studio’s most personal long-form project — seven years of letterforms, ink, and paper. It has travelled far beyond our studio since.

A note from the Prime Minister’s office

The Hanuman Chalisa edition has been gifted by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to a visiting foreign delegation — a gesture that recognised the work as a small piece of India’s living calligraphic tradition.

Each copy of the Chalisa goes out with a request: write back, even a line. The replies have come from temples, homes, and offices across India and a few from abroad — quiet messages about how the lettering changes the way the verses feel when read.
