Cancellation & Refund Policy

Likhawat Designs aims to be fair and practical with cancellations and refunds. The terms below apply to orders placed with the studio.

Cancelling an order

Cancellation requests are considered if the request reaches us within 2 days of placing the order. A cancellation may not be possible once the order has been dispatched or, in the case of customised work, once the design has been started or sent to a vendor for production.

Damaged or defective items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please report it to our customer service within 2 days of receipt. Send a photograph of the item and the packaging along with your order details. The request is reviewed once we (or, where applicable, the production partner) have inspected the issue.

If the product is not as expected

If the product you receive does not match how it was shown to you on the website or in our correspondence, please write to us within 2 days of receipt. Our team will review the complaint and revert with a fair resolution.

Manufacturer warranty

For products that carry a manufacturer’s warranty, please refer the issue directly to the manufacturer. Where we can help facilitate, we will.

Refund timelines

Where a refund is approved by Likhawat Designs, it typically takes 3 to 5 working days to be processed back to the original payment method. Bank-side settlement timelines may add a few additional days.

Custom and bespoke work

Hand-calligraphed and bespoke commissions, by their nature, cannot be cancelled once the design has been started. For these, we will work with you on revisions instead of a cancellation wherever possible.
